Carl H. Bagell, CPA
Managing Partner

Carl H. Bagell has over 30 years experience in the public accounting profession.  In addition to his managing partner responsibilities he leads the firm’s tax department. Mr. Bagell concentrates his practice in the area of taxation, and has extensive experience in the negotiation and settlement of federal, state, and local tax audits and controversies.  He also provides conventional accounting services to his client’s that include certified audits, review and compilation of financial statements, management advisory services, bankruptcy work, internal control review, and estate and trust planning.  Carl is responsible for growing the IRS Tax Resolution section of the practice and has an excellent track record in obtaining favorable outcomes in audits, tax controversies, and offers in compromises. 

As the managing partner of a rapidly growing CPA firm, Carl has a passion for business and understands what it takes  to run a successful organization. As a result Carl is able to empower his clients and coach them in attaining their financial goals. Carl’s experience in everything from intracompany mediation to business analysis allows him to offer clients expert consultation in areas of operational efficiency, personnel relations and strategic growth planning.

After years of performing tax audits, Carl has developed positive relationships with taxing authorities. He has also earned a good reputation by successfully helping clients with IRS Tax Problem Resolution.

Carl also provides investment advisory services and is licensed by the National Association of Securities Dealers (NASD). He holds Series 6 and Series 63 licenses. Under his leadership, the firm has partnered with AXA (www.axa-financial.com) to facilitate the purchase of  mutual funds, bonds, IRAs, and personal insurance for clients.

Carl is a Temple University graduate with a Bachelor of Business Administration and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA) and the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants (NJSCPA). He also sits on the Tribunal of Sigma Alpha Rho Fraternity, a national youth organization.

Glenn M. Josephs, CPA

Glenn Josephs has over 30 years of experience providing accounting and Management Advisory services. In addition to offering extensive tax planning, Glenn is responsible for the firm's Litigation Support services, as well as special projects involving intricate forensic matters. He is widely recognized as a resource and expert witness for many of the region's leading law firms in matrimonial, criminal and civil cases.

Glenn also works with many healthcare providers. He has consulted with physician practices as well as surgical centers and has extensive experience with Medicare and third party reimbursements. He also works with clients in banking (internal control and compliance) and real estate.

With years of experience and a broad client base, Glenn is well positioned to facilitate business deals. He has worked with architects and contractors and has been instrumental in obtaining financing for many clients.

A graduate of Temple University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting, Glenn is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA) and the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants (NJSCPA). He also has served on the advisory board of a local bank.

David Firestone, CPA, CrFA, CFE

With over 20 years of experience as a CPA, David Firestone has done extensive work in the areas of tax planning, forensic accounting, internal control systems, internal audit programs, business valuations and management advisory consultation.

David’s experience makes him an asset to clients that are looking to outsource support in all financial areas. His years spent as an in-house controller for a large mortgage company client and as an internal audit director at two Atlantic City casinos allowed David to hone his financial management and communication skills, making him well suited to analyze a business from top to bottom and make recommendations on everything from improving operational efficiency and personnel relations to planning for future growth.

David is well-versed in compliance issues. To successfully serve the firm’s clients in the mortgage and banking industries, he stays current on a variety of state and federal financial regulations.

As part of the firm’s Management Advisory team, David has performed business valuations for estate planning, business acquisition and business sale purposes.

For clients requiring Litigation Support, David provides an expertise in evaluation of economic losses incurred as a result of contract disputes, anti-trust violations, significant property damage and personal physical impairment.

A graduate of the Philadelphia College of Textiles and Science with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting, David is also a Certified Forensic Accountant. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA), American College of Forensic Examiners Institute, The National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts, and Association of Certified Fraud Examiners. David is a licensed CPA in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. He is also a board member of the American College of Forensic Examiners.

Neil Levine, CPA

Neil Levine has spent over 20 years in public accounting. His experience includes consulting for both privately held and public companies to help them achieve their financial goals. Neil currently manages the firm's Public Companies / SEC practice. He has organized quality control and ensures that the firm complies with the regulations of the PCAOB.

Neil has experience performing audits under generally accepted accounting principles, other comprehensive methods of accounting, and engagements under governmental accounting standards. He has performed HUD audits, single audits and certain audits of Programs and Grants. He has also developed and performed audits of internal controls of various companies. Neil also has extensive experience in financial and tax planning, negotiating mergers, acquisitions, arranging bank financing, and developing marketing strategies. He has served both developmental and emerging companies as well as old-line businesses.

A graduate of Muhlenberg College with a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting, Neil is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA), and is licensed in the states of New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Florida and Connecticut.

Marc G. Nochimson, CPA

Marc G. Nochimson has over 25 years of experience of providing auditing and accounting services to both public and privately held businesses. His experience includes a diverse clientele in the high tech field, manufacturing, retail, not for profit (A-133 and Yellow Book), construction and real estate industries.

As one of the SEC partners, Marc is responsible for the firm’s compliance with PCAOB regulations, and has extensive knowledge with the requirements of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act. Furthermore, Marc has assisted many clients with registration statements, comment letters, quarterly and annual filings.

In addition, besides providing traditional tax and financial planning for his clients, Marc also has extensive experience in providing non-traditional services for his clients. Some of these include: assisting companies in successfully obtaining loans, providing expert and grand jury testimony in fraud investigations and damage claims, and preparing business valuations. Marc has also provided operational audits and internal control studies to restructure and streamline client operations to become more efficient and has co-authored and presented various seminars nationally on the subject.

A graduate of Trenton State College (now known as the College of New Jersey) with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting, magna cum laude. Marc is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants (NJSCPA), and is licensed in the State of New Jersey. Marc also is a Former Board of Director and Treasurer of the Lions Club of Camden County and Former Board of Director of the Big Brothers/Sisters for Camden and Gloucester Counties.

Ciro Adams, CPA

With over 20 years of public accounting experience, Ciro Adams concentrates his audit practice in the areas of stock offerings and registration statements, SEC and NASD financial reporting, and the performance of due diligence procedures on acquisitions, private placements and venture fund investments. These clients include large corporations as well as small companies and individual entrepreneurs.

His background of service to a number of local, national and international companies includes as clients: communications service providers, real estate developers, construction managers, broker/dealers, owners and operators of gaming and entertainment properties, a clinical laboratory, a laser and spectrograph manufacturer, and other service industries. He has provided auditing, accounting and advisory services for businesses ranging in size from small emerging companies to publicly held companies with over $1 billion in assets.

He also assists clients in implementing the requirements of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002. His clients have included a manufacturer and marketer of a broad range of clinically advanced medical and surgical supplies, a producer and marketer of electrical power systems and storage devices, and a global leader in the manufacturing of specialty papers and engineered products. He has directed projects that include performing entity level assessments, documenting key internal controls, and developing and executing internal control monitoring and testing programs.

Ciro’s sophisticated business acumen, acquired in part while heading his own auditing practice for over 12 years in South Jersey, qualifies him to identify, understand and help resolve the difficult issues that often arise in sophisticated business transactions. His entrepreneurial background and approach to providing audit and attestation services means he is truly able to provide “value added” services while working closely with his client’s accountants and financial advisors to help them accomplish their goals.

Ciro earned a BA in accounting from Rutgers University. He is a fellow of the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants and is a member of the Committee of 100 and University & Whist Club in Wilmington, Delaware.

Jason Tang, CPA

Jason Tang has over 10 years of experience providing accounting, auditing, and financial services to both publicly and privately held businesses.  Jason oversees the international activities for the public and private sectors.

Jason’s background includes preparation and execution of audit planning, tax consulting, generating business plans, economic forecasting, contract negotiation, and quality control.  Jason’s bi-lingual background has assisted the firm in offering our services to those publicly traded companies that have subsidiaries in China or other Chinese companies who intend to go public in the United States.

A graduate of the University of International Business and Economics in Beijing with a Bachelor of Law, Jason also holds a Master of Business Administration in Accounting from Seton Hall University and is a member of the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants (NJSCPA).
